Jillian Gillis, founder of Empower Tech Tutor, brings a unique blend of expertise, creativity, and compassion to her work. A graduate of NSCC with diplomas in Marketing and IT Database Administration, Jillian combines technical know-how with a knack for clear and effective communication.
Her passion for helping others navigate technology stems from both professional and personal experiences. As someone who has firsthand experience with disability, Jillian understands the importance of accessibility and inclusivity. She has also worked closely with the disability community, creating meaningful content that fosters connection and understanding.
In addition to her work with Empower Tech Tutor, Jillian has created and produced a podcast, showcasing her creativity and ability to connect with diverse audiences. She is dedicated to making technology approachable and empowering for everyone, especially seniors and individuals with disabilities.
When she’s not working or exploring the latest tech trends, Jillian enjoys spending quality time with her beloved cat, who brings an extra dose of joy and inspiration to her days.
